Happy Spring!
Here are a few pictures from the Unbunny / Paper Birds / Gregg Porter & Guy Capecelatro show at Ello Gallery last week. Thanks to everyone who came out. There was a lot of people there, and we all had a lot of fun.
Brown Bird is on tour now, and Tiger Saw goes on tour in April. We're going to finish up the Paper Birds album in the coming weeks, and find a home for it. We'll be taking the summer off from performances, but will play out again in the fall, hopefully when the album is released.
Any new updates will be posted here and on MySpace.
See you around!

new news

We had a nice few days of shows at Bard, Sarah Lawrence, and the Middle East. Sarah Lawrence was a treat as we played with our friends Jason Anderson and Soul Saint Marie. That show and Bard were also with the Wailing Wall, and that's a great band that we look forward to hearing more from soon.
Last night at the Middle East with Phosphorescent was one of our best shows to date. We played a half-hour set, consisting of five songs. Phosphorescent was wonderful, as always.
Thanks to all that came out to these shows.
This week Guy joins us and we'll start recording our debut album in Rockport, MA! We're really excited to record, and hope to share the songs with you before long.
We have a show planned for March 19th at the Ello Gallery in Portsmouth, NH. It will be our debut as a four-piece. Our new member Guy Capecelatro III will also perform his songs, as will the amazing Gregg Porter and Unbunny, who makes a rare New England appearance.
Fun fact: Guy plays in all four bands!
Hillytown has a review of our recent Portland show.
That's it for now. We'll report back with updates on the recording...

Guy Capecelatro joins Paper Birds!

We are thrilled to announce that the incomparable Guy Capecelatro III has joined Paper Birds.
He will be playing a variety of instruments. I think we all will now.
Guy helped record the demos for many of the Paper Birds songs before I even knew they would be Paper Birds songs. He has been a great friend, inspiration, and supporter since the beginning, and we are really excited to have him be a part of the band.
As it's RPM month, he's busy making a bunch of his own records, so he won't be performing with us during our February shows, but he will be recording with us in March, and will perform with us at our shows afterward.
